Meet gentle, sweet Soup! This amazing guy was brought to us one year ago after he had been shot directly in the back. He had a giant open wound with necrotic bone and tissue underneath. Soup had been wandering on his own like this for about two weeks—scared and in an incredible amount of pain. We couldn’t believe it when he greeted us with an open heart and a wagging tail, ready to love and trust again. After intense surgery we finally had Soup on the road to healing physically and could focus on him healing mentally. While Soup can still be shy and a bit hesitant of strangers (who can blame him?), this boy has truly blossomed into an incredible dog. He is smart, playful, and definitely food motivated!
