Be a hero for the cats and dogs of Free to Live by giving today!

Donations are used to care for the nearly 300 dogs and cats on property. From vet care to food, we give homeless animals a chance to live a full life – whether forever with us or thriving in a home!

We know there is no place like a home, but for many of our residents – home is Free to Live. That is why we work daily to provide for not only their physical, but also their mental needs. The greatest gift we can give them is time to learn to trust again. Your gifts help us support those who need our help the most. Especially sanctuary animals like Simpson who experienced severe abuse before arriving to us, and now trusts very few humans. Or Thaddeus who requires intensive skin therapy to stay healthy – you can provide sustaining support by sponsoring a sanctuary animal for the year or with a one-time gift to their care.

Be a Sanctuary Champion

Give a Monthly Gift

Consider taking your support even further by making your gift monthly and becoming a champion for the animals!

When you become a Sanctuary Champion by signing up to make monthly donations, you’re providing gifts that can be used by animals in their hours of need. Sanctuary Champions are special members of the Free to Live family, because their gifts are continuous and steady. Help animals all year round by making a monthly gift today.

A few examples of what your monthly gift can do:

$10: Provide neuter and initial vaccines for a homeless dog or cat.

$50: Provide food for a year for two homeless dogs or cats.

$25: Provide five months of life-saving insulin for a homeless dog or cat.

$100: Provide food and vaccines for a year for four homeless dogs and cats.

Sponsor an animal

You can sponsor a Free to Live dog or cat for just $300 a year.  You can give that amount all at once by visiting here. You can sponsor a long-term sanctuary resident like one of those featured below or help support the care of one of our adoptable dogs or cats while they wait for their forever homes. Each animal sponsor receives a Free to Live window cling, a mailed information sheet on their sponsored animal, and a special card from them.

Sanctuary Sweetheart Mischief

Sanctuary Sweetheart Mischief

“Oh what about that cat?” is a phrase heard a lot when people visit main cattery. Mischief loves to come out and get all the pets from visitors. Don’t worry – this formal Oklahoma City Zoo feral lives up to his Mischief name. As much as he loves, he can sometimes bite...

Sanctuary Sweetheart Simpson

Sanctuary Sweetheart Simpson

Birthday: 7/2013 Sanctuary Stud Alert! Simpson is the only dog we have ever seen that can hang in the air like the most perfect cartoon. He was found by construction workers with his back burned to the bone – most likely from acid. He was also heart worm positive. He...

Sancutary Sweetheart Seamus

Sancutary Sweetheart Seamus

Birthday May 2009 Seamus makes us laugh on the daily. He is a permanent resident due to an incident in Moore (he said they got the wrong guy) and he has terrible skin allergies that require frequent visits to our specialist. Because he has to be monitored closely for...

Sanctuary Sweetheart Thaddeus

Sanctuary Sweetheart Thaddeus

Thaddeus is the kind of friend who helps you move. Not the friend who SAYS he will help you move, but never shows up (we see you Jeff). Thaddeus shows up with a coffee in hand to brighten your day and never once complains about the size of your Precious Moments...

Sanctuary Sweetheart Charlie Chaplin

Sanctuary Sweetheart Charlie Chaplin

I’m a big guy. I weigh over 20 pounds and I like to roll around and show everyone my belly and my handsome walk about. I was found by this nice lady in Tulsa. She was helping all my friends that lived around there and she was upset I had something called FIV. She said...

Sanctuary Sweethearts Eyore and Rue

Sanctuary Sweethearts Eyore and Rue

July 2016 Eyore and Rue are quite the brothers who aren’t really brothers. Eyore wanted to help document Free to Live’s history for the anniversary and Rue ran as fast as he could through his supplies and scattered them everywhere. Once Eyore really got into...
