Ways to Give
Donate
Be a hero for the cats and dogs of Free to Live by giving today!
Donations are used to care for the nearly 300 dogs and cats on property. From vet care to food, we give homeless animals a chance to live a full life – whether forever with us or thriving in a home!
We know there is no place like a home, but for many of our residents – home is Free to Live. That is why we work daily to provide for not only their physical, but also their mental needs. The greatest gift we can give them is time to learn to trust again. Your gifts help us support those who need our help the most.
Donate from our Wishlist
We accept item donations at the sanctuary – from medications no longer needed for your pets to blankets, bedding and food – we make great use of your gently used items.
We are also always looking for both dryers and washing machines. We go through them quickly, especially during the winter months when we are washing more bedding.
We rely on food donations to help care for the 300 animals on property! Some of our greatest needs are wet dog and cat food, dry dog food and cat litter.
We have supply lists, including enrichment toys, on both Chewy and Amazon. These lists allow you to donate and send directly to the sanctuary.
We also use elevated beds for each of the dogs and cats. You can send a gift of a bed to one of our sanctuary residents by visiting the Kuranda site!
Estate Planning and Continued Care Program
Creating a planned gift for the animals of Free to Live leaves a lasting and sustaining legacy for the animals in our care. These gifts make a tremendous impact on homeless animals and for the future of the sanctuary.
Planning for what happens to your pet should you pass is also an important part of your legacy. The Free to Live Continued Care Program provides a safe haven for your pet upon your passing. For $5,000 per pet (should you want them to have the opportunity for adoption), or $7,500 (should you want them to live the remainder of their days in sanctuary), Free to Live provides care for your pet once your become incapacitated or upon your death. Payment can be made via provision by will, insurance policy, trust, or through payments made during your lifetime. We do ask that you provide us with documentation from your will, so we can establish the plan for your pet.
Should you have any questions regarding the arrangement of a planned gift, or the Continued Care Program, please email info@freetoliveok.org.
