George – Birthday 2020
George is a beautiful Husky and German Shepherd mix. He was saved as an emaciated stray in a neighborhood where a teenager patiently fed him treats over her fence until she was able to earn his trust. They were unable to get him to come into their yard right away, but George loves other dogs and the finder’s dogs opened their fence overnight for him to join them. He is house trained, knows how to sit and loves to go on walks. He is kid friendly, cat and small dog friendly and all kinds of bigger dog friendly. He is very shy and needs someone who understands that George is going to rely on them for his confidence. He is a big kid, and once he gains his weight back, he will easily be 80 pounds. George would be most successful joining a home with other dogs.
