Adopt Mustard

Meet Mustard! (Est. DOB 2023) This sweet boy came to us after a good samaritan found him running stray and clearly injured, we took him to our vet and found out that not only was he heartworm positive, but he had been badly impaled by something, likely a fence post, and had a hole in his lung. After extensive surgery to get him all fixed up, followed by a long heartworm treatment, this guy is FINALLY ready to find his forever home! Mustard has been through a lot of hardship in his short life, but that has never dulled his bright, happy demeanor. Now that he is healthy, this boy is FULL of energy! Bend at the knees when Mustard is running by, cause he comes through like a joyful, sweet, adorable ball of chaos! Mustard is friendly with other dogs and very sweet and playful. He would do great in a home that likes to play and snuggle. Mustard is a master escape artist and would need to be adopted to a home with a stockade fence or an apartment where he is leash walked and has supervised outside time. We would be happy to cat test Mustard for any interested parties, and he would love to meet resident dogs in the home prior to adoption. Think Mustard could be a good fit for you? Apply online to meet him!

Adoption is a wonderful way to save two lives and we would love to introduce you to your new best friend!
