Although she can be a bit shy at first, once she warms up to you, you will have this beautiful girl in your corner for life! Brindi is wonderful with other dogs, although she can be a little bossy sometimes, she just wants to be in charge! Brindi is great with humans of all shapes and sizes, and would love to find a quiet home where she could snuggle with her humans all day long. 

Meet Mustard! (Est. DOB 2023) This sweet boy came to us after a good samaritan found him running stray and clearly injured, we took him to our vet and found out that not only was he heartworm positive, but he had been badly impaled by something, likely a fence post, and had a hole in his lung. After extensive surgery to get him all fixed up, followed by a long heartworm treatment, this guy is FINALLY ready to find his forever home!

Meet Kai (Est. DOB 2014) This sweet girl was adopted from us as a young pup, and through no fault of her own or anyone else’s, her living circumstances changed and she had to come back to the Sanctuary. This sweet senior girl is ready for her second chance at forever. Kai is sweet as can be, quiet, friendly, and gets along well with both dogs and cats.

Say hi to beautiful Holly! This gorgeous girl has a story all too familiar to us, as she spent weeks running stray at an apartment complex in OKC—she was thin and covered in ticks but too scared to stop. We brought out a trap and with the help of neighbors keeping an eye on it—we got the call four hours later that she was secure and safe! It took a few weeks for her to trust us, but now she is the cutest little love bug.

Coalgate was found alone on the side of the road near a rural town. He was malnourished, covered in scabs from an ongoing skin infection which likely wasn’t helping what was going on inside his ears. Coalgate had been suffering from chronic double-ear infections for a long time. Due to antibiotic resistance, we had to do a double ear canal ablation to help Coalgate live the best pain-free life he can. Coalgate has been such a trooper and now spends his days enjoying the sun on his little face.

Our sweet baby Garland! (Est. DOB January 2019) We found Garland with her siblings and Mama after they were dumped in the middle of nowhere as puppies. She was by far the shyest of the bunch, and sadly, she is the only one that hasn’t been adopted after all these years. Garland is the sweetest girl once she gets to know you, but she is painfully shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people.

Meet Johnny! (Est. DOB 2024). This sweet shy boy was dumped as a stray with his buddy June in a story that is all too familiar. But he is ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with his very own forever home! Johnny is very shy around new people, and it takes him some time to warm up to you. Once he does, he is a really nice boy who wants all the love and attention, but it takes him some time to get there!

Meet Sphinx! (Est. DOB December 2024). This sweet guy was dumped as a puppy but now he’s ready to take on the world and find his very own forever home! Sphinx is a pure bundle of energy mixed with a little bit of chaos and a whole lot of sweetness and a dash of shenanigans! He will definitely make his forever family laugh every day.

Meet Taco! We first spotted Taco when he timidly came up through the front gates of our property. He was starving, scared of us and he ran away – normal behavior for a guy out on his own for a while. After some time, we were able to get him in a trap and started the routine to get him well. Bloodwork, wormers and food and more food. Taco has recently started having some neurological issues due to infection in his spine, and will be on longterm antibiotic therapy under the care of our internal specialist to help him regain full mobility in his back legs.

Meet Tig! This handsome ten year old big boy has always been a staff favorite. He was dumped rurally as a puppy with his two sisters, and they have both long since found their forever homes, leaving Tig as the last one of his litter! Tig can be a pretty shy guy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will be your absolute best friend!

Hey, good lookin’! This handsome guy is Tiger (estimated birthday April 2014)! Oh, and, Tiger’s ball. Meet Tiger’s ball, cause if there’s one thing you need to know about Tiger—it’s that he will ALWAYS have his ball with him! This goofy, sweet, high-energy guy is ready to soar right into your house and your heart! Tiger is a big boy but oh so sweet and snuggly! He loves to play, go on long walks, play ball and more ball, romp around with other dogs, and eat from his puzzle bowl!

Meet Natasha! (Est. DOB 2022) She came with us very shy and shut down along with her litter of puppies. She was a great Momma but now her kiddos have all found their own forever homes and this sweet girl is ready to take on the world! Natasha is fantastic with other dogs and would absolutely prefer another dog in her forever home.

Meet Wanda! (Est. DOB 2023) This sweet girl was once a stray running on her own, but now she’s ready to find her very own forever home! Wanda is as sweet as they come, gentle, loving, and playful. She is a big girl at 85 pounds but is a gentle giant and sweet with everyone she meets. She lives with a dog much smaller than her, her best friend Reggiano (also adoptable!), and does great with him!

Meet D O G! Nope, not “Dog,” but “Dee-Oh-Gee!” This handsome four-year-old lad is a high-energy, fun-loving, sweet-natured boy! D-O-G was left tied up to our front gate with his two siblings, and unfortunately was heartworm positive. He spent his first months with us undergoing intense medical treatment, but that is long in the past! He is now a healthy, energetic, happy guy!

Zen or Zennie or Zenniquin….he doesn’t care what you call him; just call him! We have never met a guy happier to be alive and in your presence. He loves love and he loves to play. It took us a Memorial Day Weekend to convince him to go with us. This giant boy was living at the entrance of a rural neighborhood, and it took an enterprising young boy to lead him into his backyard with treats. Now that he has learned humans are fun, he can’t get enough of your pets. 

Meet Reggiano! (Est. DOB May 2024) This precious guy came to us as a stray with his brother, Parm. They were just little guys and left to fend for themselves outside. This sweet boy, just like his brother Parm, is on the smaller side at around 30-35 pounds, and even though they are still under a year old, we don’t anticipate they will get too much bigger! Parm has been adopted and now we are so hopeful Reg will also find a loving forever home.

Sponsor Chatter (est. DOB May 2021)! This cutie showed up feral at a local gas station and politely asked for some food. He loved to use his voice and chat chat chat with us, earning the name Chatter, but he was still pretty shy. He had a birth defect that left one of his back legs with a lot of sores and mobility issues, but after a successful amputation, he is ready to take on the world! 

Meet Tanner! This 14-year-old boy came to us as a kitten with his Mom, Tulip. They were both FELV+ and in need of a safe place to land. Tanner has battled his fair share of health issues over the years, but he’s never lost his goofy, loving personality. When his Mom passed away in 2022, we knew Tanner would need another friend to bond with. When his health issues started ramping up, we decided to move him into the office with Parker so he could have a friend of his own and get the extra love and care he needs!

Earth to Sputnik! This dreamy, cuddly boy is totally out of this world. Sputnik loves attention and will follow you around, flopping for head and side scratches. After he’s gotten all the love he can handle, he will get cozy for a nice long nap. Sputnik is good with adults in a laid-back home but would not be comfortable with young children. He would also prefer to be an only cat so he can get all the attention!

Meet Nectarine! (Est. DOB April 2024). This sweet boy showed up as a stray on our property and it took us some time to convince him to come hang out with us, but once he did, he became a total sweetie! Nectarine can be shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he becomes a total sweetheart who wants all the love and affection!

Say hello to Shambles! When we were alerted to a cat up the road that had been hit by a car and was dragging himself, we knew we had to help! Once we got him in the trap we realized he was in really bad shape and had sustained injuries to all four legs and was battling a terrible infection. After a trip to the ER, a leg amputation, and a long course of antibiotics and pain meds, Shambles was finally on the road to recovery!

Malone came to us after being found in a construction site with a broken leg. She had bone exposed and a tummy full of Styrofoam she had been eating to survive. At just barely 5 pounds, we knew it would be risky to undergo surgery, but the risk of infection in her exposed bone was just too high. She did beautifully during her surgery and could finally start the road to healing!

Sweet, funny Yuri loves to be the center of attention! Whether he’s bouncing around the Cattery or showing off his toothy grin, this goofy guy is always making his presence known. Yuri loves scratching posts, cozy beds, and working off his energy climbing cat trees. He also loves convincing our staff that work is overrated…pet him instead!

Meet Dahlia! (Est. DOB 2022) This sweet girl came to us from another animal rescue organization after she tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Overall, Dahlia has been a healthy girl with a playful, sweet, loving energy! She was at risk for euthanasia because of her positive status, but with the right care, she can still live a long, happy, and healthy life! Dahlia loves to play and also loves to snuggle, and she loves treats and wet food!

Meet Copperfield! This handsome feral boy was trapped on property and in major need of some socialization! He can still be a shy guy, but has his trusted friends with our staff and volunteers that he loves so much! Copperfield is the sweetest, most gentle boy who loves his other kitty friends so much.

Meet Chip and Chunk! These beautiful four-year-old sisters have spent their entire lives in our foster system. Chip and Chunk were the shyest little kittens and are still pretty particular about who they allow in their space! While Chip has turned into the more social of the two, Chunk still has a very small list of Allowed Petters. These sweet girls are on a special urinary diet to keep them healthy, and they love nothing more than to be together.

Cute Kenzie is absolutely adorable! She is a petite, chatty kiddo who’s been waiting patiently for her forever home for way too long. Kenzie loves long, cozy snoozes, treats, and especially catnip! She also is exceptionally talkative and will ‘talk’ to all the bugs and birds she sees. How adorable!

Meet Fig! (Est. DOB May 2024). She came to us as a tiny baby but needed to get healthy before she was ready to take on the world. Her loving foster family got her all healthy and ready for her very own forever home! Fig loves to be pet, loves to play, and wants to be involved in everything! She is a bit chatty when she wants your attention, and loves to play with spring toys! She loves to climb as high as possible and watch her Kingdom below.
